My grandson asked me why does God allow bad things to happen all around the world. I had to tell him the truth and amazingly enough he took it better than most adults.
God loves us all and when he gave us dominion over the earth, it wasn't so he'd have to micromanage it. He wanted man to share dominion with him. We fell and hence sin came over the world. We gave our dominion to the devil. So really, he allows bad things to happen and God allows him to run it as he sees fit within the boundaries that protect God's children. The enemy has power but never over God. He can't even overcome a WORD from God's mouth, let alone dethrone Him.
